Now enrolling pilot merchants in Los Angeles
Take stablecoin payments at the counter.
Your customer scans a QR code and pays in USDC. You pay a flat 1% and receive U.S. dollars in your bank account. No crypto to hold, no price swings.
Keep more of every sale.
Card processing typically costs U.S. merchants between 2.5% and 3.5% per sale. CryptoPay charges a flat 1%.
*Card comparison uses an illustrative 2.9% blended rate. Your actual card costs depend on your processor, card mix and plan.
How a sale works
Our terminal sits next to your card reader. Checkout takes about as long as tapping a card.
-
Enter the amount
Your cashier types the total on the CryptoPay terminal. A QR code for that exact sale appears on screen.
-
Customer pays from their phone
They scan the code and send USDC from the wallet they already use. No app to download.
-
You get dollars
The terminal confirms the payment and prints a receipt. The sale settles to your business bank account in U.S. dollars.
Built for the counter, not the crypto crowd
You don't need to know anything about crypto to use CryptoPay.
No price risk
Customers pay in USDC, a digital dollar designed to stay at $1. You're paid in U.S. dollars, not tokens.
Payments are final
Stablecoin payments can't be reversed by the payer, so there are no card-style chargebacks. You control refunds from the terminal or dashboard.
Works beside your current setup
Keep your card reader and register. CryptoPay adds one more way to pay without changing anything else.
A real person when you need one
Pilot merchants get setup in store and a direct line to our team in Los Angeles.

Questions merchants ask
Do my customers need a special app?
No. They scan the QR code with their phone camera and pay from any wallet that holds USDC, such as Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask or Phantom.
Which coins can customers use?
We're starting with USDC on the Base and Solana networks because fees are low and payments confirm quickly. More options may follow.
What if the price of crypto changes?
USDC is designed to stay worth $1, and you are paid in U.S. dollars, so you don't hold crypto or carry price risk.
When do I get my money?
Our goal is next-business-day deposits to your business bank account. We'll confirm exact settlement timing before your pilot starts.
Who processes the payments?
CryptoPay is a technology company. Payments will be received, converted and settled by licensed U.S. payment partners, and we'll share partner details with you before your pilot begins.
How do refunds work?
Start a refund from the terminal or your dashboard. The customer gets a secure link to confirm where the money should go.
